The Liebster Award

I was nominated by the lovely http://thegirlinthemoonlight.blogspot.com/ for the Liebster Award! I wasn't fully aware that this was a tag going around but if you don't already know what it is, it's a tag where the person who nominates you gives you 10 questions to answer and once you're done, you nominate 10 more people and give them 10 other questions to answer!

1. What is your favourite flower?

Growing up, I remember loving orchids because they were expensive and rare (wow was I shallow!). Although, right now, I've really been loving sunflowers and daisies! Sorry I can't just pick one!

2. What would your number one blogging tip be?

Blog about what interests you! I struggled with this in the past because whenever I thought of content for my blog, I would ask myself "what would people be interested in?" and although that's a good thing, it also has to be something YOU are interested in! So, if you're planning on starting a blog, I would definitely suggest you find something that you're passionate about (it can be anything!) and work from there. 

3. What's your favourite season and why?

I can't stand temperature extremes so I'm all about the in-between seasons - spring and fall! 

4. What would your ideal way to spend a rainy night doing be? (PG please guys, ha!)

I'd find a seat closest to the window (the sight and sound of rain gives me the utmost sense of relaxation!) and curl up with a good book!

5. Why did you start blogging?

Well, I've always been a huge fan of blogs and I've always wondered what it would be like to have a blog of my own. Initially, I brushed off the idea thinking that no one would be interested in reading what I have to say but I realized that in the end, I just wanted to do it for myself and so Wonder Canyon was born. I'm actually really glad I allowed myself to get into blogging because it allows me to express myself and share my opinions on different things!

6. If we were playing one of those "get to know each other" games, what would your fact about yourself be?

I'm actually under 5 feet tall!

7. If you could go to any other country right now, where would you go?

Greece, hands down! Someone take me, please!?

8. What is your favourite type of book AND blogpost to read?

I LOVE inspirational books (Mitch Albom and the like!) and as for blogposts, I really enjoy reading travel posts!

9. What is it about blogging that you love the most?

Not speaking about my blog necessarily, I love the interaction between the blogger and the readers.  It's sort of a community where you can share your ideas and learn so many things from each other!

10. What is your favourite social media website?

Tumblr! The amount of time I can spend on Tumblr is scary.
